Isn’t this just ChatGPT with a wrapper?

All AI writing, everywhere, is done by a large language model, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini included. The model isn’t the difference. What surrounds it is: a structured profile of your career that it writes from, rules that stop it claiming anything your profile can’t back, a check of every requirement in the job, interview questions tied to your own history, and documents formatted to send. That’s the part a blank chat leaves you to rebuild for every application.

Does it make things up?

No. Every claim traces back to something in your profile. If the job asks for something your profile doesn’t show, Profyl marks it “to address” and suggests a next step instead of inventing it.

Will a recruiter be able to tell?

It’s written from your history, in your voice, so there’s no house style to spot. We won’t promise you a detector score. We’d be guessing, and the claim wouldn’t survive an interview anyway.

What happens to my data?

We never use your profile, your voice recordings, or anything Profyl writes for you to train any model, ours or anyone else’s. Your profile is yours: export it or delete it at any time. How your data is handled.
